How will my school be communicating with me?
Your school will be using their website and School Messenger (phone messages) to communicate with you.
How will my student’s teacher be communicating with me?
Your teacher will utilize a digital communication process for you and your students. This will be explained prior to the start of school.
What technology does my student need to participate in eLearn at My School?
Your student will need the following:

- Internet access
What if my student does not have a computer?
If your student needs a device, contact your school. Please note that tablets are available for K thru 3rd and laptops for 4th thru 12th .
How does my Preschool through 3rd grade child use the tablet?
How do I update my student device and update Microsoft Teams on my device?
- Set Chrome as your Default Browser
- Clear Cache and Cookies in the Chrome Browser
- Update Microsoft Teams for Desktop
- Run Updates via “Check Online for Updates form Microsoft Update”
Can my student use a personal device?
Students can us their personal devices for eLearning. The following list of personal devices can be used to participate in eLearn at My School:
- Windows computer: Windows 8.1 or later
- Apple computer: Mac OS 10.10 or later
- Android Tablet or Phone: Android Version 4.4 or later
- iPad or iPhone: iOS Version 10 or later
What if my student does not have access to the Internet?
If your student needs internet connectivity, contact your school.

What platform will my student use to attend online class meetings and complete schoolwork?
Microsoft Teams is the recommended hub for eLearning. This app can be accessed in the browser at Office.com or downloaded to your personal computer or mobile device (click here for download options). Teams brings together a variety of Microsoft tools including Meetings, Posts, Files, Class Notebook, Assignments, Chat, and more. Your student’s teacher will also use our adopted digital curriculum in the grade level and subject areas where they exist.
